DiskPeek offers a free 30-day trial of all features. After the trial, a one-time in-app purchase called "DiskPeek Pro" unlocks the full app permanently.

DiskPeek respects user privacy. This app does not require user registration, does not sell personal data, and does not collect or upload any file contents.

Local Settings

Preferences such as sort order, display options, and language are stored locally on the user's Mac and are not sent to the developer.

File Access

The app runs inside the macOS App Sandbox and can only access folders or volumes that you have explicitly granted access to via the open panel. It reads only the metadata it needs (file sizes, paths, modification times) and does not read or upload file contents.

Deletion Actions

When you choose "Move to Trash" in the app, items are sent to the macOS Trash rather than being deleted directly, so you can restore them at any time. The app actively blocks trashing of sensitive locations such as the root, /System, /Library, /Applications, and the user's home directory, and requires a second confirmation for folders such as .colima that may contain VM data.

Payment Data

This app offers a 30-day trial and a one-time in-app purchase called "DiskPeek Pro." Purchases are processed by Apple App Store. The app does not collect or store payment card numbers, bank account information, or full payment details.

Restore Purchases

Users can restore their purchased entitlement using the app's "Restore Purchases" feature. The restore process is handled by App Store / StoreKit.
